Taste of Togetherness: Speak Your Truth

Saying what you really want to or need to can be very hard to do. Yet when we do it often we feel more relaxed, alive and liberated.

Join Adam Wilder and the Togetherness team for an evening exploring verbal communication. This is a chance to meet the Togetherness community and a great reunion for people who have just been introduced to Togetherness at previous events this summer including at Wilderness.

Being able to speak honestly and truthfully are the foundations of good relationships (with yourself, partners, friends, family, colleagues, everyone). How many people in your life do you feel you can be truly honest with? How honest are you with yourself about exactly what is going on in your heart, body and mind?

In this taster evening you can expect to

• meet awesome new people
• play a series of verbal connection games
• learn techniques to support honest conversations in your daily life
• get more comfortable being truthful with yourself
• practice having courageous, truthful conversations with others

On arrival you'll have the chance to meet and mingle with the other attendees over nibbles.

We'll begin with a landing meditation, Introduction from Adam, discover and share what is really going on for you right now in pairs with the 'What is Here right now?' game

Build connections with yourself and others via a guided set of verbal intimacy practices which enable you to surface and talk about parts of yourself you might not feel confident to do so normally e.g., fears, shadows, pains, desires and anger. Learn how to create spaces where you can truly be honest and share your full truth in your daily life beyond this event.

There will be time for more socialising and an opportunity to find out more about our Summer Festival at the end.
