Learn to decorate cupcakes with an expert baker in this playful class that also explores taboos surrounding our relationships to our genitals.
As seen on Londonist.
Join House of Togetherness and Mary Lou for a fun-filled evening of cupcake decorating and breaking down barriers when it comes to talking about our most mind blowing body parts.
his event will make a great date night, a night with your friends or come alone and meet new people. The atmosphere will be relaxed and open with some 'bangin'' tunes (geddit?!).
You will learn how to mould and shape penises and vaginas (or vulvas to be precise) and you have full permission to say all of those dreaded words out loud! Mary Lou will share intriguing facts about genitals and open a conversation. You do not have to participate in any discussion if you don't want to.
No previous experience of cupcake decorating necessary, there is no baking involved just decorating and you don't even need to be artistic. Anything goes. You will have the opportunity to use a variety of colours of sugarpaste, sprinkles galore (how else would you make edible pubes?) and will be encouraged to create different shapes and sizes. All materials will be provided.
The decorations are fully edible and you will make six cupcake decorations in total to adorn Mary Lou's freshly baked cupcakes and leave with them in a box. You can keep them for yourself, take them in to work the next day or give them to someone as a naughty gift.
About Mary Lou
Not many people know this about our Head of House, for she is as modest as a pair of red lace French knickers but Mary Lou was once known as a “baker to the stars”. Once hailed as Cupcake Queen of London, a life changing event caused Mary Lou to crave more connection in her life and so she quit the world of baking to join the Togetherness movement. Mary Lou boasted a celebrity clientele that included Daisy Lowe, Elle MacPherson, Kylie Minogue, Kate Hudson and Lady Gaga. She once even made a giant penis cake for Cara Delevigne’s birthday. With clients such as Google, Selfridges and Harvey Nichols as well as two recipe books under her belt, Mary Lou will expertly show you how to handcraft edible cock and pussy decorations in this naughty and sensual cupcake masterclass.
