Sensuality for Women with Roma Norriss and Alice Irving
Last years workshop enabled people of all genders and orientations who have female bodies to explore non-sexual, sensual touch with each other, including optional partial nudity and breast massage. This workshop offers a safe space for people to explore their own wants and boundaries, and to receive nurturing, non-sexual touch. Sensual touch is a key part of intimacy. It generates oxytocin and dopamine and lowers stress hormone levels. It is essential for bonding and the maintenance of long term love, and is often overlooked or underattended in traditional lovemaking. For many people, this workshop will be the first time they will experience asking for sensual touch free of any sexual agenda. We will touch on the menstrual cycle and its impact on desire and sensuality. Participants will also master the basics of breast massage, a traditional way women have taken care of each other for generations.

Alice Irving is a coach working on the link between embodiment, wellbeing and success. She explores how can we recover collectively from the industrialisation of learning and labour, and emerge into a new phase of playful sophistication. She believe we can unleash ourselves by harmonising who we must be externally with who we know ourselves to be internally. Emerging neuroscience gives us a doorway into uncharted levels of human excellence, while also bringing us home to the old wisdom of the body. It is her mission to help us connect: with ourselves, with each other, with the land we call home, and to build existence - commerce, polity, community and home - on the joy of being human.
